So sad. Domestic violence. The all too frequent outcome of handguns in the home!

Maybe if Balfour brought the gun from his own home...but he didn't live there, and judging from the bit of the rap sheet posted in the article, I suspect that a law against owning a gun or having one in one's house is just ANOTHER law that he would ignore.

With all the laws he has broken so far, it's just one more to break.

I briefly saw this on the news last night, but I didn't realize it was Jennifer Hudson's family. So sad.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I thought they said that the address was also listed as a residence for Balfour. I was reading different articles and it said he had a few addresses, including the one at Hudson's mother's home.

It's sad that if he and the girlfriend/ex-girlfriend (Hudson's sister) did have a falling out that he would kill her family. I hope the boy is ok.

They listed that guy's previous convictions, and it makes you wonder why the sister would want to be involved with such a thug. If he was violent before, more than likely you could assume he'd be violent again.

Kinda sounds like "no fixed address".

The SUV has been found, and inside was the body of child. I'm not sure if they have made a positive ID as of now.
