As mom said, we're here at the hotel! Got in around 8 pm last night. It was a long drive, but the kids were outstanding. I actually was shocked at how well they did. Dominic fussed a little because Jasmine some how dropped the "Cars" dvd out of the player. They went without TV for a while and Dominic fell asleep, but once he woke up, he wanted "Cars". So, we took a potty break, got a snack, fixed the movie, and were back on the road. The only other fussiness I really dealt with was Dominic because he gulped down his juice and wasn't too crazy about being told to wait for more. It amazes me how much this boy tries to drink some times. Good thing he has me to slow him down, lol.

Today was a little rougher. Thank goodness we had a day to just putt around before daddy arrives. They were full force go, go, go and fought quite a bit. Definately a full day in the car hyped them up for today. And as I said, we just kind of putted around today. Went to a couple of stores and drove the short distance from the hotel to post so that I know where I'm going tomorrow night. We'll be heading into evening before he arrives so I wanted to make sure that I will know where to go once it's dark. Easy trip, just relieved to get a fresh eye at it again before I'm possibly rushing!!!

As for Brian, I did get word from him today that he was about to get on the plane to head to Germany from Kuwait. He said he'd call me once they landed, but I haven't heard from him yet. No clue exactly how long that flight is (while I have been told, it's just one of those details that doesn't stay with me, I just want to know when he'll be here, lol) but if they have landed, I'm sure he's just been busy with whatever they need to handle before reboarding and getting back on their way. As I said before, they are to arrive tomorrow evening so it might be kind of late by the time we are finally reunited. I have the news on and they were showing the homecoming that took place today and said it was the largest one that's taken place so far. I know the one we're supposed to be apart of isn't supposed to be quite so big, but it really will be interesting. That's a lot of guys in camo, especially for two kids who have lived away from the installations for so long. Infact, while picking up McDonald's for lunch, Jasmine looked over and goes "mommy, a soldier". I'm like, yep, you're going to see a lot of those up here. Just one more of those things that she really doesn't get because of her age!

Thankfully, both kids are asleep and we've all had our evening clean ups. Now, we just have to get through the bulk of the day tomorrow, lol! Unfortunately, they are calling for rain here. I don't have the biggest issue with rain, it's just more difficult to haul kids in and out of car seats and stuff like that!

Anyways, I better quit rambling on and on for tonight. I need to get some shut eye myself. Thank you all for your support. I will definately pass along your messages to Brian. And I will also do my best to try to get back on in the next few days so update you all and let you know that we are back in his arms!

By the way, just to let you know mom, while at Kmart today, I found an inexpensive Thomas dvd for him and picked it up. Hopefully he'll let us change it to the Blue's Clue's or Thomas dvd. Poor Jasmine wanted to watch her Scooby-Doo and he just did not want to give in! While I did let her have the change, periodically he'd cry out, "Cars", lol!

    Great News, Christy!

Now a little Prayer that God helps fly Brian's plane to the States ON TIME
so that he can greet the Kids before they turn *cranky* from being kept
    up too late!

Remember to pass out a Bunch of Pet Talk {{{HUGS}}} to "Our Sarge"!!

    WELCOME HOME, Brian!!!

We're still at the hotel trying to take it easy. Here in a few, we'll head out to get some lunch. Looking out the window, I'm not too excited to go out until tonight though. It just looks so cold and wet!

Anyways, I got woke up at 8 am this morning getting the official word that we need to be at the welcome home ceremony at about 7:30 pm, two full hours before it's scheduled for. So, please keep us in your thoughts that the kids don't get too bored and start acting up while we're waiting. I know at the Fort Hood one the first time he returned, they had a dj pumping out music so the kids were all dancing around. I have no clue how they do it here so it's all going to be new to me! Hopefully there will be something to help with all the kids energy and excitment because I know there will probably be a lot of little ones attending. I also got a text message from Brian letting me know they were boarding a plane and on their way! I can't put into words how excited I'm getting. He's really on his way!

Well, I better get going. The kids are a bit hyper this morning and it's getting to be about lunch time. As I said before, I'll do my best to keep you all updated and I will also be sure to pass your well wishes on to Brian!

Well, he's back in our arms! The ceremony did take place at 9:30 pm. It was a long wait, the kids were trying to climb all over the bleachers, but we made it. They marched into the gym and I could spot him right away, the one who was limping!!! Jasmine finally got what I meant though about not being able to tell which one was him because they'd all be in the same uniforms. Once they were dismissed, I just stood there and waited for him to spot us up on the bleachers. He made it to us, and Jamsine imediately hugged him. Dominic looked at him and said "daddy" but was a little bit more hesitant to run into his arms. Didn't take long though, as both kids were ready to goof off and play with daddy right away. Finally got on our way back here to the hotel and stopped at McDonalds for a snack. Needless to say, the kids are long asleep now. I guess I'm still just so happy that I feel wide awake!!!

What a terrific update from you all. I did wonder a little bit how Dominic
and Jasmine would react to seeing Daddy again.
