I made it home, safe and sound. But my God, what a goat rope!

I was working at a client at a small airport. While all of this was going down, a small jet aircraft landed. Out come these mean looking dudes, dressed to the nines but carrying M-4's. They all got into a couple of black SUV's and took off. I was thinking, "dang, the FBI is fast". But then I realized they were probably the advance party for McCain's security detail. He and Palin are having a thing at the Giant Center in Hershey tomorrow. I bet they were pissed off having to wait in traffic with the rest of us schlubs.

Wow... that must have been interesting to watch!

And.. for those of you who had no idea what a goat rope was(like me), see the Urban Dictionary's definition (well, the only one that could be printed here, lol):
To teach new cowboys the art of roping a moving target, such as a horse or a steer, novices would be put in a pen full of goats, which were smaller and less dangerous, to hone their craft. The old-timers would gather to watch, drink, whoop and be amused by the ensuing melee. It was not a pretty sight.

Man, what a train wreck, what a goat rope!"
