I've been gray since my early 20's, so I know what you mean! Whatever you do, if you've got a lot of gray already, don't go red, as the white hairs pick it up like a sponge and its RED. I've tried many times over the years, and anything with red tint comes up red. Auburn? Red! Chestnut? Red! I think there's a thread here within the past year where my hair turned pink.

My father was completely gray at 23. I found my first gray hair at 18! Instead of dying it, for a lot of years I used henna. I was afraid to do anything permanent. Henna would highlight the gray hairs and make them a reddish color. (I chose the red henna because my hair has a lot of red in it naturally). Anyway, it could be an option for you for while. Henna is natural and will wash out relatively quickly. My hair always felt and looked healthier after using it.
Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

From what I've been told my mother in law was almost completely grey by age 20 (well, her roots were). She started dying her hair at 17 when she already had a good bit of grey. My husband is 26 and about 50% grey.

Kuhio... a friend of mine just recommended Henna to me today.

I think I am going to give that a try.

R.I.P my dear Sweet Teddy. You will be missed forever. We love you.

    one thign to consider...

one you use henna.. most if not all hair dyes do not recommend their usage (hair dye, not henna itself) if you have used henna on your hair... youŽd have to let it grow off or cut it off...

not sure about chemical reaction or something... many people seem quite content with henna though
