I am suspecting near the same things. The line is not continuous, it branches into two different stories. Nothing fits together right unless you disregard some parts which eliminates the purpose. So which was it? She won't give her address or phone #, but yet she won't contact Melissa even tho Melissa gave her a calling card # to use. I wonder why??? She also said at least twice that she would go talk to the kitten's owner - so why hasn't she - they aren't gone all the time. She also claims that the kids abused the kitten by kicking it in the head and choking it. If this is the case, and the kitten is outside and not in the house all the time, I would think it would have run away by now. Animals aren't dumb enough to go back for repeated abuse and they leave if given the opportunity most of the time. See where I'm going here??? - nothing makes sense!!!
I just have a gut feeling about this.....Maybe a lonely person looking for attention, or perhaps a kid with nothing better to do and sitting back and laughing about the whole thing...????
