    I think Hank is a very fitting name! He is SO cute! He really does just look like a brindle beagle I think...you'll have to just see what he looks like when he grows though.

    I never thought that type of coat would exist on a Beagle, but hey, we'll see what he looks like in 2-3 months!

    He is sooo cute! Congratulations on the new little man.

    In the most recent pictures you posted, I think he looks too small to be mixed with Boxer. Who knows, though?

    He really is an adorable little guy.

    He so cute. I think he's purebred. Beagles come in EVERY color you could see in a dog breed. We seem to have a breeder in our area that likes to tinker with the more uncommon beagle colors. My favorite is the heavily spotted bluetick.

    I just thought of something. Hybrid breeders who combine boston terriers with bassets or beagles love using brindle. Most that I've seen are brindle and most that I've seen look 99% like the hound part of their family. Come to think of it, brindle might just be the dominant color that comes from those crossings. Maybe he's got boston terrier in him.
