Incubators tend to be pretty big...I wish there was a way to resize them and keep the links active.

Have you seen the links on Gwenevere's site to make your own? It would seem that you could make them as big or small as you want.... But then again, I'm not the most knowledgable about image sizes and signatures.

I also managed to pick up a hatchling off the abandoned page. That's only the second time I've seen one.

True. It is a pain. Probably why I haven't done one yet, lol.

I was finally able to pick up another split egg a few days ago. Hopefully it turns out to be female. I missed a few papers, gold, silvers, dinos, etc, and such though! I, also, picked up a vine, a pebble, another split, and another that I forgot. I "force" hatched the vine and the pebble. I put the third split and the pebble hatchling on the adoption page. I am waiting to see if my current vine is an alt, my skywing and water to grow into adults, and my second split to hatch. So, I am going to see if I can go snag a couple more eggs!

I've been wondering, how do you force an egg to hatch? I've seen it mentioned several times today on the DC forum, but I can't seem to see how it's done...

When it gets close to hatching, go to the actions menu and select kill egg. There is a slight chance you may actually kill the egg (especially if its too close to hatching or it has soft shell) but most of the time it will force the egg to hatch.

Indeed! I would recommend that if you wish to "force" hatch your egg that you wait until it is in the 4.00 range (up to 4.99, but I theorize that the less time the better your success) or less. There are three possibilities: you can force hatch and it will die, it will hatch and you will catch it, or it will hatch and scamper away. Most of the time, for me, I will catch it. I did have one run away from me and one died, though. (I did not know of these until experience!)

Not so. I have done it successfully every single time except for once. Most people on the forums have *never* done it, and most wouldn't, but it is not high risk.
