Even plain water, soapy water of any kind, etc will drown fleas. There's no magical formula in any of those bathing additives that are instant flea killers. It's simply drowning them plain and simple.

I can't even count the number of clients anymore I've talked with at work who have had a bad flea problem and tried everything from Dawn dishsoap, to garlic, to borax, to things I can't even remember. And all of them said it didn't work and they wished they'd called us first and saved their money.
