I am so sorry, Rachel.

I saw Rosie's name in the Dog Memorial column and I dreaded opening it. I'm deeply saddened by this. It was Rosie's time to leave this earth and be an angel in heaven. She isn't having any pain now. You all did the only thing you can do. It's so hard to make the decision but we have to do it for them. I know she was grateful to be pain free. She's thanking you and the family from the bridge right now.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Rachel. My heart sank when I read the thread...I can't even believe that it is true.

I think she was only about a year older than Nebo and Syd. I remember when you first got her and watching her grow up. Please know that I would never judge you or your family for making one of the hardest decisions anyone ever has to make. Rosie is pain-free and happy now at the bridge. Remember this drawing I did of her years ago?

I wish I knew where it was, I think its lost, otherwise I'd send it to you. If you ever need to talk, just send me a pm. I'll be keeping you, your family (including Anna) in my thoughts.

Oh man, Amy, seeing that drawing just made me cry like a baby! Thank you, I saved it on my laptop and I am going to try to blow it up to 8x10... would you continue look for that drawing, if you ever come across it, please send it over so we can have it framed.. My dad would love that.
