I design in photoshop, then cut the images to the pixel by hand and assemble it in dreamweaver. It's the best technique I've found so far. I know I could use imageready to cut the image but I prefer doing it by hand.

The new one. I'm watching it online because I don't get any channels that play it. I saw a little bit of an episode with David Tennant as the doctor at my friend's house back in the spring when we were browsing channels, she has the Sci Fi channel.

The new one is pretty good...the story is a bit more believable than the old one lol.

I think the underlying plot of it is unbelievable and there are so many issues with it, but I love it anyway.
Like, if the doctor can see everything that happened and will happen and that could happen, then why are they ever surprised? Wouldn't he just be like a robot carrying out the actions that he sees? Also, why would, for instance, Rose say her mother would have seen her with her father as he died because she went back in time to change the past, but later in the episode at the hospital (first episode, second new season) that woman played the video of herself at that party but it didn't show her with herself in that man's body. That's such a HUGE inconsistency. The only time travel that makes sense to me that I've ever read or seen was Jo Rowling's in Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban.

Time travel is a sci fi plot staple...no one ever seems to get it compltely right though. I was watching the final episode of Star Trek Voyager last night and kept thinking to myself "How in the heck does this work" lol.

The problem with temperal mechanics is that its all theoretical...theres no way to know how exactly time travel works until we actually acomplish it. It isn't anything I'd like to mess with though!

Quantum and theoretical physics are strange indeed! Although, very interesting! It kind of goes with metaphysics a bit. We've already got the math for what time *is* mathematically (no! really?! ). We need to figure out a way to go through it or around it or whatnot. People just can't figure out what direction time goes, how one experiences it, etc.

That's where it gets into metaphysics. "As the boundaries for experiencing time are removed, so is its relevancy" is a quote that I've read recently and find intriguing. Also, suppose you are traveling at the speed of light. (Remember, this is *supposed*) Since it seems to be agreed that time slows as you approach the speed of light and stops AT the speed of light it has been brought up that maybe time ceases to exist all together. Interesting! On to read more Parmenides, Xeno, Plato, Augustine, and such..
