Kirsten, when I lost 35 lbs in just under 10 months a few years ago, I ate 2,000 calories a day. I have put a few back on and am trying like heck to stick to that again.I could never live on 1,500 calories! That's not much food. I guess it depends on a persons metabolism and also how active you are.
