It's normal. Heck, after going under the knife and all the medicinal smells, I'd be a little hissed as well!!! Try rubbing her down with a dryer sheet. That should help get rid of the medicinal smell.

Ours do the same thing when one comes back from the vet. It's the funky smells at the vet's office that upsets them. After a day or so they're ok.
