Just like everything else, I think it should be decided on a case-by-case basis and not a hard and fast rule. I agree with McCain on some things, but not this one. My brother is a single, gay male. He would make an excellent parent.
My stepson and his partner have been together many years. They have never formally adopted, but have been excellent parents to a young man whose family kicked him out of the house when he came out.
Race, sex and/or sexual preference should not be the determining factor on who can adopt -- or who you vote for for president.![]()
