Buddy is now living Oak Street in East Hartford with a wonderful 79 year old gentleman named Hal. He has a beautiful home with lots of windows and places for buddy to hide. I am so happy, and sad in a way as I was quite attached to him.

It truly is bittersweet, huh, Donna? I cried every single time I placed a cat that I had rescued, even though I was relieved that they finally had a permanent home. Ya dun good, girlie!

Sweetheart, you made the best decision for Buddy. This seems like the perfect furrever home for him. I know this was a heart wrenching decision for you to make since you were so attached to Buddy. BIG {{{{ HUGS}}}} for giving Buddy a good home. My shoulder is still there if you want to unload.

{{{{hugs}}}} This does sound like the perfect home for Buddy - and I am sure it will do dear Hal a world of good.
Will he be in touch with you from time to time? God willing, Hal will live for many healthy years yet - but hopefully there is a backup plan for Buddy if he does have a change in health.
I hope Hal can get a pic of Buddy in a window somewhere, and that he is settling in just fine.
