Thanks everyone. I had a nice day...breakfast with friends at my favorite restaurant and then my best friend cooked me my favorite dinner. She makes a this pork loin that is to die for!
No hubby though, he's in Texas for a couple weeks. He bought me the laptop I'm typing this on a few weeks ago as a birthday gift.
My folks got me a Tassimo machine that I am dying to try out, but Sears has it backordered! Sears ships up here cheap so my Mom sends me lots of gifts through them. She sent me a big box full of the Tassimo discs to open yesterday so I'm all set when the machine gets here!
Now I'm heading to Skagway for the day.

Same thing he's always doing somewhere...working! He's pretty far inland so he was safe from Ike.
