What a wonderful and touching rescue story! I don't know what breed mix you are but you are beautiful! A vet once told me that a purple spotted tongue was characteristic of a Chow. We had a mix breed dog that my husband and I adopted that had a purple spotted tongue. Kudos to you and Ginger Snap! Loads of love and biscuits to you!
