Bless you for taking him in. He sounds wonderful and just needs loving and will give it back. Please be careful, though, because folks are looking for black cats for not very nice things at Halloween. I wouldn't mind contributing some money towards you fostering him until a good safe home could be found. He seems like such a sweety.
