So you think women are so sheep-like they should support a woman BECAUSE she is a woman.

Do I not remember you fussing (as best I could understand it) about blacks supporting Obama just because he is black?

But women should support Palin just because she is a woman?

In my career I have stood up a few times against putting a woman (including me) in a position because of gender. When a woman fails it is all to easy for people to say..."See? I told you a woman couldn't do it!" And it makes it that much harder for the next woman. People should get positions because they are the best qualified.

I too would like to see a woman as president of the United States - or even vice-president. However, not just any woman. And not Ms. Palin.

Apparently so. He's also not alone in thinking that way. It's
really sad isn't it?

1.) He just comes out and says they are wealth redistributing socialists.

2.) They are using the same tactics they decry. Goebbels and Goering both talk about using "patriotic" overtones to get the masses to do what they want.

3.) Do they really not understand the idea as to how the economy works? Can't they see what happens if you tax the wealthy and large companies more? or do they just not care, because they are looking for their moral equivilant of war. The thing they need to keep our eyes off the ball and looking instead at the evil <insert whatever here> that is to blame for our woes.

Of course, in THEIR context its a good thing, right?

The stock market crashed in 1929. But the Great Depression did not get going full tilt until the government got involved in 1933.

Those that do not know their history are doomed to repeat it.

I can just imagine our 'leaders' in Washington rejoicing about the economy. What better way to get he sheep more in line than the economy going to crap? The perfect "moral equivilant of war."
