She is GORGEOUS! Groucho, your mustache just MAKES your beautiful looks! I can tell, somehow, that she is very well loved. Pretty Groucho, wishing you comfort and love, love, love.

Thank you for the pics, Taz.

My love and prayers for Groucho

I just read the terrible news about Groucho and I feel so sad about her and her humans. I'm actually crying because it reminded me of how we suffered when our little baby Chester passed away... but also reminded me how we prayed for our little Sophie cause she had a hard time when she was a baby... and she's still with us.
My prayers for Groucho and her human family, big hugs for all of them.

    Sincerely,
    Astrid

Awe... I hope Groucho will at least be comfortable and have lots more time with her family. I LOVE her mustache!!

I always worry that there is going to be something I miss with one of the cats, just because there are 8 of them here, and sometimes you just don't know if what they are doing is normal/natural for them, or if you should worry. Plus with the chubby ones, I always worry about weight and heart issues.

Good thoughts and prayers going out for Groucho!

    Thanks again everyone.
My friend, Brandi, and her husband took Groucho back to the vet yesterday to have her liver levels checked again.
Bad news. Her liver is failing along with the cancer in her pancreas. She is still not eating. Not even food from the vets that she had eaten her first day there. Last I heard from her they were going to force feed her.

Please keep the thoughts and prayers coming for Groucho.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Perhaps at this point they could try Groucho's favourite 'human' food, whatever that may be.

It may not be "healthy", but at this point, her enjoying something might outweigh that.

Candace, thanks for the idea. I told her and said it would be difficult for me since mine do not get human food, ever. So I wouldn't know what was their "favorite". She said - same here.
Yesterday she said her breathing was labored. So it sounds like it's just a matter of time.

I am glad that Candace suggested human food, that was what I was going to post. I would forgo the force feeding and go for whatever Groucho would like to eat on HER terms. Quality of life and, above all, comfort and no pain. Nineteen years is a long time to share a weath of joys!!! But, having to say goodbye at any age to a good friend is difficult. We said goodbye to 4 cats in less than a year, hard to bear....where they are now, there is no pain or suffering, and that is what we all want for our cats. Prayers for sweet Groucho and here family at this difficult time...
