It's a poison to kill slugs - a nasty and slimy garden snail minus a shell. Unfortunately most poison I know of is also toxic to pets. I have them here but can't put out any poison because of my outdoor resident stray kitty. They come out at night and actually get into any dry cat food that might be left in the dish - they love it. So if I let the dogs out at night and they're on the house or porch - I arm myself with a spray bottle of salt water since that will kill them.

I'm so sorry to hear that beautiful Casey has gone to the Rainbow Bridge so suddenly.
I know exactly how you feel, my cat Samantha has gone to join her at the Rainbow Bridge today.
Hopefully they will find each other there, the two black nosed cuties can hang out together.
