I know that this isn't the same, but I had to take Chrissy to the vet a couple of months ago and have one of her eye's removed (birth defect). What was interesting was that when I picked her up at the vet it was like she had discovered a new lease on life. She is even more active after having the eye removed than when she had it. I think it was causing her pain because it was continually infected.

I am so glad to hear that your baby is doing great.. My stomack is just in knots till I hear that the surgery is over & all is good & well.. You know I am hoping Buttons wont be so grumpy.. She has always been sort of on the grumpy side & maybe it has been due to the bad eye.. But I knew something was wrong when she wasnt in bed with me.. She is always curled up so close to me everynight.. Also she has never been away from the house except to the vets & back on checkups & shots.. I will check again this evening after work on her.. Again Many Many Thanks for the Prayers & Huggss..
