She is no longer pregnant. When I took her in to the Humane Society to be spayed they terminated the pregnancy. Probably one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make. The friends who were willing to take her in would not have been able to handle kittens as well and all the no-kill shelters around us are filled way beyond capacity. She is just as soft as she looks, and yes her eyes are the most amazing shade of green. She is still confined to the nursery but we are increasing her out of the box time, such as it is. Fortunately the way our house is set up we can divide it in half and give her the chance to explore while keeping the rest of the herd at a distance. She loves to play, but she also lets you know when she has had enough togethernessI got hissed at quite seriously last night. Hubby has been sleeping in there with her so she isn't alone at night. I will post more pictures as soon as I can...
She's very pretty. Sorry to hear about the pregnancy but I think you did the right thing.

All things work together for good to them that love God.

I've been defrosted-- Thanks, Sana
She is an absolute beauty. I know that it is hard to allow them to terminate a pregnancy, I do TNR, but there are already so many cats and kitties that don't have homes, many that are put to sleep daily, or those die in the woods, that we don't need more to worry about. You made the right decision.
