My ex's uncle use to breed/show Catahoulas. They are really pretty dogs. The shows were awesome, not only was it show ring, but competitions for them herding bulls and pigs. It was really different. But sorry dont know too much about them.
As far as DNA testing, I got my dog DNA tested, I should get the results next week. It wasn't nearly as expensive as I thought it would be $60.00 but I've been having a huge string of bad luck with the post office getting the test from and to the lab. I'm a very curious person, it would bother me forever if I didn't know what he was made of.

edit: He does look more Catahoula than husky to me.
