Hi, sweet adorable Alf! May I offer you a belated congratulations on your litter of what must be darling degus? Glad that step-dad Leroy was there to keep you company and to have as a playmate, and he probably misses you. However, your babies must have been beautiful, as you are! Glad to hear that your human made sure they would be in good homes and that you and your human can visit them. Good for your human for taking the time to remind us all of how important it is to double-check a pet`s gender; I`ve had my share of surprises due to mix ups as well. Hi there darling little Alf! What a beautiful, gentle and loving furry one you are! It's great to hear you and your furry family are in the loving care of such devoted and responsible humans; and you even get to visit with and baby sit your adopted babies I'm so happy to hear that, and that they all were adopted by wonderful families, and your partner Leroy too! Your guardian has some good advice for us all...be sure of your pocket pet's gender before co-mingling! Birthing and mothering are hard work, but happily those days are behind you, and from here on in nothing to do but relax and enjoy your daughters and your loving humans! Congratulations on your well earned day on center stage, precious Alf! Hope you and your little ones are all being spoiled rotten today, enjoying a very happy Pet of the Day celebration, and that person will pass along a cuddle and little kiss and a favorite treat, for me!

What a treat it is to have such a pretty little degu as our Pet of the Day today! Just by reading your story, Alf, I have learned so much I hadn't known about your species. Being able to get pregnant again just 24 hours after giving birth? Wow! Good thing you are a good mum! I hope you get plenty of pats and all of your favorite treats in honor of this special day.
