It's so very painful to see you and TK as wee ones, so, so tiny, so fragile, especially knowing the sad fate of your brave and courageous sibling, precious TK But thanks to your guardian angel, your wonderful Mom, at least you kids were given a chance and oh, what a happy ending, what a beautiful, strong and healthy girl you've grown up to be...and quite the lady in charge, it appears! What an amazing, heartwarming tale of rescue! You and your Mom are truly an inspiration to us all, Austen! And no doubt about it, the spirit of your dear little sibling TK lives on!

The other cats in our household helped us to raise her and keep her thriving. Austen is three now, and she is a healthy, active and fun cat. Austen is very communicative, using both voice and gestures to get her message across. Austen really doesn't care to take 'no' for an answer!

Austen, you are a beautiful shiny black kitty girl! I love that you are so communicative and determined! I'd be happy to walk by you just as an excuse to feed a treat to you, pretty girl. Happy Cat of the Day!

Oh Austen, those big beautiful eyes of yours just drew me in. And it sounds like it isn't just your eyes that are big and beautiful, it is your personality, too! You are just filled to the brim with quirks and tricks.. I bet you keep everyone in the house on their toes.

I love the bottom picture, how intently you and your brother are learning how to safely lick a plastic bag. It sounds like you have plenty of older cats to teach you the ropes, right?

You are a special and lovely cat - I would love to watch your 'tretch' trick if your staff would be so kind as to video you doing it From an unfortunate beginning you have overcome many obstacles and this is reflected in your wonderful purrsonality and supreme intelligence. I know that little TK will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge and you will get to see him again someday but paws crossed that that day will be a long way away.
