I can tell you that he is DEFINITELY talking - I think meezers squawk from the moment they begin breathing - perhaps even beforehand! Nauty certainly has one huge voice and is not scared of using it. We've had him for not quite 3 weeks and the chaos that he has caused already... I took more photos the other night so will try to get them loaded up tonight and narrate the the tales (tails?!) he has made since entering our home.
In the meantime, here is a photo of him from a day or so after we got him - in his traditional squawking pose (sorry it's a little blurry!):
