At 15 +, he can't see well, can't hear well, sometimes gets "lost" in my kitchen and cries until one of us gets him and reorients him. Adopting a 15 year old with all his health issues is a huge undertaking, both financially and emotionally. I felt it was the best thing for Ozzy. And to me, that is part of rescue: doing what is right for this animal at this time.
