Aww, poor old girl. I am sure she is much, much loved. We recently visited Kenda, the polar bear that was born in 1983 at the Worcester, MA Science Museum, now called the Ecotarium. She seems to love swimming down to the viewing window to be face to face with the children who visit!

Wow, I didnt know polar bears lived that long. Alaska Zoo's Binky only lived to 21 years of age. Link. I have no idea how old Binky's cagemate Nuka lived, they died a few days apart.
RIP Debby, and thanks for sharing.
