Oh, I'm so sorry that this is happening. You and sweet Tiger have really been through a lot together and he knows how much you love him and how you did your best to keep him comfortable. They instinctively know. We'll be w/you, as always, every step of the way, no matter what decision you make. Prayers going up for you and Tiger and lots of comforting (((HUGS))), too.

I'm so sorry to hear that Tiger is in pain, and not doing better. He has made such an impact here on PT this past year, and has just touched the hearts of all of us. He's been loved from near and far, and he'll be able to feel that when the time does come for him to go to the Bridge.

I just read your post in Candice's thread about Tiger and I am so sorry. Your message brought tears to my eyes. I wish there was something I could say or do to make you and Tiger feel better, but know that we are all praying for you here at PT. I'm so sorry to hear that Tiger is in pain and not doing well. You've done everything possible for him and have gone above and beyond to help him. Making the decision to let him go to Rainbow Bridge is such a difficult one but you are making the right unselfish choice and thinking of his quality of life. We'll never forget him and he'll always be loved. I wish that I could say something to comfort you during this difficult time but all I can do from here is to send you some cyber hugs and let you know that I'll be thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. Thank you all so much for your kind words. They brought me to tears but they've really helped me. I will know that I will not be alone tomorrow when he is put down, I have all of you guys thinking about him too which means so much. I made his appointment for 9:45a.m. (pacific time). I probably should have booked it for today but I'm being selfish and keeping him with me for one last night. It just didn't feel like the right day though I know I can't wait any longer than tomorrow.
Thank you everybody for being there for me and for Tiger this past year. It has meant so very much.

We will all be with you, Lara. I am so - glad? - that you chose us to share Tiger's journey with. I wish we could have saved him.

Someone here has a saying in their siggy or somewhere - "If love could have saved you, you would be alive today." With you and Tiger, that is absolutely true.

As always, you're doing exactly the right thing. Hard as it is, this is the decision that needed to be made. I am so, so very sorry for what you and your sweet boy are going through.
