What a nice article.Mr Rogers was a special man for sure.My children
sat transfixed when his show was on TV.I always felt it was a great
experience for them. I loved the way he talked to the children in the audience.

I loved Mr. Rogers and was sad at his passing. My son (who wouldn't admit watching his show now if you tortured him) was a regular viewer and I even bought Mr. Rogers' album for him when my son was 3 or 4 years old. His favorite song was "When I Grow Up I'm Gonna Marry My Mother" which, obviously, addresses the subject of little boys having a crush on their moms. I loved his show myself and, if I'm channel surfing and happen to come upon his show on PBS reruns, I always stop and watch. Thanx for posting this. It brought back a lot of good memories.
Blessings,

I enjoyed his show almost as much as my kids did. I really liked it when he took the audience on "field trips" to see how things were made. He made every child feel like they were the only one watching and he was talking directly to them. Thanks for the link.![]()
I love Mr. Rogers, forever and ever. Thanks for sharing this article.![]()
