All requests for scritchies and huggies and lovies will be delivered, and Bob and I both say thank you!
Bob seems to love being fussed over. He has to be one of the most mellow cats I've ever met! He is never the least bit resistant when I reach for him to pet him or pick him up.
He is indeed settling in just fine. He and the other cats all seem to have worked out their balance. I never hear growls from Bob any more. Sometimes he and Elmer will sort of face-off for a bit, but there are no more overt hostilities.
He hasn't yet turned into the complete cuddle-bug, as he pretty much keeps to himself so far. But he'll settle down just about anywhere now, no matter if any of the others are nearby or not.
Some day soon I hope to introduce him to the concept of lap-sitting and see if it catches on. I think his previous owners said he would come sit on their laps (after they'd put the kid to bed). They don't have any other pets, though.
