Elephants are a very interesting study. Surprising the emotions they have and fell. A lot smartwer than we think they are.
That sanctuary in Hohenwald, TN is amazing. There are some unbelieveable stories from there. My sister used to have the checks that gave some of the proceeds to the sanctuary. They used to have an elephant camera where you could watch them online. I don't know if that is still on their site or not.
Thanks for the link! I love elephants, have always been fascinated by them, and they have always touched my heart. I wish mankind would have treated them better in the past...We did so many horrible things to them, and still do.
Isn't the sanctuary in Tennessee the one where Maggie went to, the old elephant from the Alaska zoo?

I don't see Maggie listed on their website. The elephantcam is still there, although I don't see any this morning.
