    Just part board. It's looking pretty promising about leasing the first horse, Flint. Turns out his owner fosters dogs for the Border Collie rescue I fostered for and adopted Jersey from!!

    We went to see Flint last week, and he was great! I think he'll be perfect for my sister and I. We both rode him a bit... he is very nice! But he has the BOUNCIEST trot ever. I could barely stay in the saddle. The past few years I've been riding Western, so I'm going to need to learn to post again. Any tips?

    Also, does anyone know how often a horse without shoes needs to get his hooves done?

    We both got new jobs, and we'll start leasing him come September. I'm so excited.
