I wish I could just pop it in his mouth, but that is where the pain is coming from, so he clamps his mouth shut. He is a large GSD with a huge head and mouth. When I try to pry his mouth open, he yelps and runs. He doesn't want anyone around his mouth! When he goes to the vet, she can't even check his mouth, because he clamps it shut. We have to catch looks, when he's panting to see what's in there. (sigh)
Today I tried the "stuffed in a pork sausage" trick and it worked today. I'm sure later I'll have to find something else, cause he looked at me suspiciously. Guess he won't fall for that one for a while. LOL
