chocolatepuppy- Gosh I hope so. I feel so guilty. I always take Joey out first, play with him first, feed him first, my first kisses and cuddles of the day. To let him know he is still my number one boy... I love that little guy. I dont want to hurt him.
To anyone whom can help- Is there any way to make Joey like her? I mean, a way to get him to see she just wants to play with him, and she is not that bad? Or do I just wait it out and see? Thank you in advance!
Thank you so much Michelle!![]()

I've been BOO'd!!! Thanks Lori!
I've been through this 'introducing puppy thing' 3 times in the last 8 years.Just give it some time. It has always worked out. Joey will soon see there are benefits to having a baby sister to play with. Try letting go of the quilt. You've given Joey a friend to play with, what's to be guilty about? I was the same way each time I brought a puppy home, then , it all worked out.

Oh my, Dora is just precious. I loved the picture of her in her pink bed. She looks so tiny in that luxurious bed. Those pictures were just to die for. Thanks for sharing them with us!
Don't feel guilty about Joey. Like someone said, you've given him a friend and you've also given Dora a great home, so it's a win-win. I've been through it too and it just takes time and patience.

The truth is that it's just really hard for me to get to sleep without a dog in my bedroom. I once had a dog named Beau. He used to sleep in the corner of the bedroom. Some nights, though, he would sneak onto the bed and lie right between Gloria and me. I know that I should have pushed him off the bed, but I didn't. He was up there because he wanted me to pat his head, so that's what I would do.
