Oh my gosh!!! All these sweet new pups and kittens to look at!! Dora is just too precious for words! That teeny tiny face! She's just like a little fluff ball! How does she compare in size with Joey?? Is he being more of gentleman to her yet?

Joey still ignores her, and runs from her, and is jealous as he can be. Poor fella

She is about the size Joey was when he came, a pound maybe? She is small compared to her litter mates. They were SO cute too. The breeder wanted me to keep her on Nutri Cal puppy for a few more weeks, and I am. But it makes her gassy, and her poop runny...

Her appointment is Monday. Today they were overbooked, and I hated asking Dr. Zech to work later just for a check up. Even though I know she would jump at a chance to meet her, and see her Boyfriend Joey. She loves him, and I dont get to hold him the entire time we are there. She takes him to see all the other doctors and workers, and then snuggles him the rest of the time It is really sweet

chocolatepuppy- Gosh I hope so. I feel so guilty. I always take Joey out first, play with him first, feed him first, my first kisses and cuddles of the day. To let him know he is still my number one boy... I love that little guy. I dont want to hurt him.


To anyone whom can help- Is there any way to make Joey like her? I mean, a way to get him to see she just wants to play with him, and she is not that bad? Or do I just wait it out and see? Thank you in advance!

I've been through this 'introducing puppy thing' 3 times in the last 8 years. Just give it some time. It has always worked out. Joey will soon see there are benefits to having a baby sister to play with. Try letting go of the quilt. You've given Joey a friend to play with, what's to be guilty about? I was the same way each time I brought a puppy home, then , it all worked out.
