Thank you all so much for your wonderful words, at this hirrible time. It means the world to me and my Family. These last two days have been very hard on all of us, especially my youngest , who is just downright heart broken.
Thursday morning, unkown to myself, when I left for work, and took my youngest to summer school, he had unknowingly left his bedroom window open. Which would have been okay, but the screen window somehow was unlatched. Around 11:00 am, my husband got a call from our Neighbor, who told him that there was a white cat dead infront of our house on the road. Hubby ran home from work, to discover our dearest Mocha had been killed. Then hubby called me at work, to tell me the bad news. I was devastated! Thankfully with the help of my wonderful friends at work, they helped me get through the disasterous news.
that night we placed Mocha in her final resting place. The worst thing was after we found Mocha, we realized that Autumn was amongst the missing as well. I was devastated to realize that she could be dead as well. We searched for numerous hours trying to find Autumn. Till we finally gave up, to get the kids their dinner, and put them to bed.
As I was getting the kids ready, I looked out the window that faces Mochas resting place, and spoted Autumn, just sitting there!! I couldnt believe my eyes! Needless to say she got many hugs and kisses from all of us, and for the first time that nigt, we all had smiles on our faces.
It has been a very rough couple of days, but we are getting through it. And knowing that our dear Autumn is home and safe, helps us through it. I have not let this cat out of my sight since hat fateful day, nor has she let me out of hers.
Mocha Dear, you were a very bright spot in my life, and you took with you a very large piece of my heart, the day you passed. We shall meet again somday! I promise! RIP my big Girl!![]()
