Okay, the thing is, it's not like we have *never* gotten her out to socialize her. This was the next step in the socialization.

AND, she has never reacted like this to other dogs. There are also few dogs at this farmer's market, and the newfie mix was one we'd never seen before (and we attend the market regularly, with and without dogs).

My point is that even after being warned, and asked to correct the problem, these people simply thought this was play. They have no clue what canine behavior is about.

I know my dogs. I know this foster. She's been with us 14+ months now. I would NEVE put my dogs or my fosters in a position where they need to defend themselves, or in a position of anything other than safe.
