Um, we have another person who wants to be prez.... Bob Barr deserted the Rep party and has been popping up hither and yon running as the Liberitarian canidate. You remember them, they are the Ross Perot people.
I'm so fed up with both parties he's starting to look better all the time.

Ross Perot did not run on the Libertarian Party - in 1992 the Presidential candidate for the Libertarians was Andre Marrou.

Libertarians believe the answer to America's political problems is the same commitment to freedom that earned America its greatness: a free-market economy and the abundance and prosperity it brings; a dedication to civil liberties and personal freedom that marks this country above all others; and a foreign policy of non-intervention, peace, and free trade as prescribed by America's founders.

It is the third largest political party in the United States.

My husband is a Libertarian. After watching Bob Barr on one of the Sunday talk shows, he doesn't look too bad to me. Certainly no worse than either of the other candidates.

Sorry the info I heard was wrong then. They said that Ross Perot was the first to run on the Libertarian Party ticket.
I just did a search and he ran on Reform Party, not Libertarian.
All I know for sure, is after he ran, we can no longer be Independents here in KS.
When I had to re-register after I moved, I could no longer be an Independent. This was in 2006. Now I am Unafiliated!
(i still consider myself as an independent no matter what my voter registeration card says)


By the way, who is this T. Boone person I keep seeing ads from?

I would be furious if I couldn't register as an Independent. Bet the ACLU could help with that.
