How tragic! Obviously his owners didn't care to invest in a litterbox! Sometimes I wonder why some people have not an ounce of common sense.
Roam free and happy at the Bridge little Maverick.

What a horrible, horrible accident...they kept him off the road, and lost him anyway...does not seem fair.

The what-if's....a harness, not a collar....but this type of accident can happen, even when people are careful.

It sounds like he did not suffer long...perhaps his neck broke, and I hate to say that, but then it would have been quick.

I am heartsick hearing this...beautiful Maverick, rest peacefully sweetheart.

Yes I do think his neck broke.. his teeth went through his tounge so he must of hit pretty hard.. Sorry for sounding graphic. It must've been 2 minutes and he was gone so it went very quickly, im still very upset over it and he wasnt even my own cat. They have so many cats over at their house as well and he really didnt like being around them so that another reason he loved laying outside I guess.

On a good note though is my 4 yr old son will be picking out 1 of 5 stray kittens tomorrow that they have and will be keeping it at his grandmothers and I know it will be taken care of and happy so that atleast makes me feel alittle better.
