In my meeting with the Bylaw officer on Saturday (re Pet Resume Site), we got talking about what is not, and cannot, be told to the media.

This poor tech - of course, NO charges were brought against her, as she had suffered enough. She had brought home animals that were due to be euthanized due to health or behaviour problems.

She had an antique radio that she left on for the animals - and it apparently overheated and set the fire. Most of the animals died of smoke inhalation.

I commented that with her being a tech, the animals would have been well cared for. Apparently there was feces all through the house - the place was a disaster. :-(

This poor girl had a huge heart and didn't know when to say no - and turned into a hoarder. As the Bylaw fellow even said, "It creeps up on you slowly - you don't notice the mess, because it happens little by little day by day."

Prayers for her, and for a brighter future for her.

Oh, how very sad. I am so sorry for her and for all the animals.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
