This mornings walk.... and Clipse hurt his foot...pics and video...

Looks like a fun time was had, but unfortunately Clipse came up limping. Now this is not an out of the ordinary thing. I have had to limit his exercise his whole life as he will pretty much just run until he breaks. He has often come up limping on his right front leg (his inside turning leg as he only does clockwise circles). But this time was a little different. When we got home he immediately lay down and tried to lick it. Turns out he ripped his pad off. I was shocked. He hasn't done that in forever!!! (It used to be a regular occurrance and another reason why he needs his exercise limited). It had been so long though that I didn't even have anything to treat it with. I had to go to the drug store and stock up.

I feel so bad for Clipse. But he does feel much better with the bandage on. I am going to have to cut the piece of pad off, but I will wait until it's not so fresh.

No time for videos to load, but I am sure they had a good time, and I would love to hear what Emily has to say.

Aww, poor Clipse. Ginger has only done that once (running on a tennis court). Hope he feels better soon. Flea does look concerned about Clipse's owie, how cute. Well, if Clipse needs a place to recover he is always welcome to stay here.

Loved the pictures and the videos! You can certainly tell who is boss (or who thinks she is the boss!) ha.....Poor Clipse...that gave me the willies, too! My Cassie was always doing stuff like that....tearing a pad, ripping off toenails, little cuts.....I hope he gets to feeling better and gets to go and run full speed soon!

Awe... poor Clipse! I would be freaking out if that happened since I've never dealt with a dog losing a pad on their foot - I don't think it happened to our family dogs at home, or if it did, I never knew about it.

I loved the videos! Emily's quite the barker, wow... is she always so talkative, lol! I didn't hear the other two barking at all! I love Ramone! What a sweet and happy face he has!
