How nice to have such helpful people around and good that you had the solution to your problem......however.....I don't know if I would feel very safe ever leaving a window open through the night again.

Oh Randi, how scary. I'm glad that you have such wonderful neighbors to come to your rescue. Poor Fister - he must think humans are very strange!

It's great to know people that are willing to help out when you need them.

    OH,

    Randi,
Your line about climbing the ladder in a skirt reminded me of an old joke.

A small girl came home from school one day and walked into the house skipping and singing.

Her mom asked her why she was so happy!

The girl told her mom, "MOM, I made a new friend today during recess at school!" The mom said, "That is wonderful, tell me about it!"

The girl went on to tell her mom that a little boy helped her climb a tree by helping her up and stood underneath in case she fell out.

The mother noticed that the girl was wearing a dress and told her, "Dear, that little boy is not your friend, he just wants to look up your skirt and see your underwear! Please remember this, this boy is not your friend!"

The girl thanked her mother and went to her room.

A few days later the girl came home again and was very happy. Again, the mother asked her why she was so happy-the little girl said that she had been playing with her male friend again, the mother seeing that she was wearing a skirt asked her is she was climbing trees again.

The girl answered that she had been climbing trees and the little boy again was watching her from the ground.

"You'd be proud of me this time mom, I remembered what you said and I fooled him this time!"

The mom said, "I am so happy, how did you trick him?"

"I didn't wear any underwear this time!!!"

What great news, Randi! That's horrible to lock yourself out.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
