You know I support your decision completely. I think anything else is too risky for him and he deserves to enjoy his life whether it is 10 more months or 10 more years. Love and hugs to all of you.

I definitely support your position. I truly understand your situation.
My Carly has terminal cancer. She is doing well, but we know it's a matter of time. When she was diagnosed, they talked about doing surgery and a lot of chemo. The surgery sounded almost like gutting her and then they explained the side effects of the drugs. Dick and I talked at length about it and after reviewing what the doctors had told us, we believe that we will give her the best "rest of her life" that is possible. She's had a few set backs, but so far I'm pleased with our decision. In November, they gave her 4-6 months to live. This last week, she celebrated 7 months. Even the doctors are amazed.

Diana, I am behind on Pet Talk and just got caught up on Jack's situation. My prayers will be there, too, for you and Carl, and precious Jack. I think you are absolutely taking the right approach.

I read you last couple posts and I think I have absorbed the situation as best I can. If Hannah or Tucker had the same diagnosis that Jack has, I do believe my course of action would be the same. Life is so short, yet he just may surprise us all with more left than we suspect. The real challenge will be not to melt into sobs when you look at him.
Enjoy every day, Good Boy Jack.
