Munchkin, I wept as I read your story - then I got to this photo and I had to laugh! How wonderful that your human cared for you, loved and nursed you back to health, so now you rule the house. Have fun tossing the food out of your dish, chasing the tissue on the fishing pole and zooming around the corners. Happy Cat of the Day!

Munchkin, I am so glad cats have 9 lives, as it gave you the chance to find your mum you have today and show her just how great of a cat you truly are.
While reading your story one question continued to shoot through my mind: "Who in their right mind could do something so cruel to such a sweet little guy?!" It is such a blessing that you crossed paths with your current mum. I am glad you gave her the message that you were not ready to give up. You have made it a long way and you have many years ahead of you in your new, loving home.

Munchkin, how your story touched my heart. You precious little boy - what a terrible start you had in life. It is hard to believe there are people out there who could be so despicably cruel to innocent creatures. But you knew enough even then to appear before your new mommy because she was so very kind and would love you.

I had tears in my eyes reading how you wrapped your tiny paws around your mom's neck because you were not ready to go to sleep even though you were so sick. You brave, wonderful little boy. Your determination to not only survive but grow to be such a loving companion is just amazing.

I hope the lovely life you lead now in your furrever home has erased any nasty memories. You are truly an inspirational COTD, Munchkin and deserve all the loving and treats imaginable. Long may you bring happiness and love to your mom and long may you do all the endearing things you love to do!
