How? How can someone do that to their dog? As long as I live, I will never understand.

I just hate this. I wouldn't introduce a new dog into our household while Louie is so frail but my plan when the inevitable happens is to seek out an older dog, dumped at the shelter because noone would take responsibility for them if their owners became disabled or unable to care for them any more. It's just so unfair.

There are several people working to help him. I'll know more when I either get an email returned or talk to the place where he is on Monday. I'm not going to let him die in there.

Bless her heart. She looks so sad and scared. I hope there's a special place in hell for the people that turned her in twice. That is just horrible.
