    My cocker/sheepdog mix (50 pound mutt) used to love corn cobs and we never thought anything of giving them to her to chew on . She would just chew them up like an edible nylabone. I hope Mr. Jack chewed it up and there will be NO problem! Oh please, please, please...

    Keep us updated.

    What IS up with these Jacks? Ashley's Jack is suddenly afraid of thunderstorms, my Jack is having kidney trouble and your Jack ate a corn cob? I am hoping like a lot of others that he chewed it up real good and all will be well --- in the end. (oh, I don't believe I added that). Thoughts and prayers coming your way.

    Well it's been about 3 hours. He's had a cup of Kashi (10 gr. fiber). a couple ww pitas, 6 or 7 high fiber crackers, and a spoonful of yogurt with digestive enzymes mixed in. Every time I walk in the kitchen he looks at me like "What can I have next, Mom?" He seems alright.
    I have to leave for a couple hours. Hope he's gonna be ok. Will let you know.

    From a previous post ... on the Fine Art of Poop Checking >>>

    It was COLD outside when I had to do the Two-Dawg "poop check" for chickin bonez

    After freezing my butt off *finding* (with a flashlight) and *sticking* mid-night poohs ...
    I discovered the "magic of the baggie"!
    * Turn a Zip-Lock baggie inside out
    * Use it like a poop-scoop bag - your hand INside the baggie to scoop
    * RE-Turn the baggie outside in - (poop IN, hand out) - **Zip** the baggie!!
    * retire to the warmth of the garage
    * gently *kneed* the bagged stuff ... looking & feeling for the sought-after "prize"

    No MUSS, No Phuss, No STINK, easy disposal!

    Talk about "TMI"

    It's been 10 hours.

    10 PM poop check - yup, got one delivery. Brought it in, smooshed it around without the benefit of a stink-proof bag (Well duh, Phred, I should have read my e-mail before doing a yard check.)

    I recognize a few chunky items from last night's dinner - baked potato skin.... a couple chewed up carrot snacks - hmm, looks like corn in there, too, but I don't see any "cob". Maybe he chewed it up REAL good, and maybe it just hasnt' passed yet. Will keep ya posted.
