I had a book years ago that explained the procedure. I needed it when I was managing a band from S. Africa but I never did use it because they were always booked w/shows. I wish I could recall the name of it but I'm sure if you go online you should be able to find one. Good luck.

I think I have a grant website bookmarked at work. I will try to remember to send it to myself at home and then post here. It may be Friday before I post again as I will get home very late tomorrow. I don't know about specific organizations that provide grants for you. But I have plenty of experience writing grants (in health care) so I can help you with them or review them if you want.
