Try and go in with her.
She has been with you through thick and thin and she would be heart broken if you weren't in the room with her for her last minutes on earth.
She would be with you if it was happening to you.
My mom and brother didn't want to come in with us for both the dogs but they did because they knew how much it would mean to them.
I know it's hard but it would mean so much to her.

You see her, you remember how she was, you take in the quality of her life, the look in her eyes . . . and you make the decision, which is as it should be. Alyssa, my heart dropped when I read this . I know i'm not on PT much anymore these days, but Sassy was always one of my favorite pt dogs. You are doing what's best for her... always remember that, and all the wonderful memories you shared together.
