Fast asleep at the foot of my bed, resigned to taking a nap, I promise you'll get your walk today. Nothing ever seems to play out the way we want it to, but you put up with me day in and day out, with only a little whining as complaint. I truly do not know where I would be today without you, and I don't know what I am going to do without you this fall. I am afraid of leaving you, because I'll feel like I'm abandoning you even though you'll have everyone else who lives here and loves you.
